3. Skrin LCD * Lapkan ia selalu kerana mudah dimasuki habuk. * Gunakan screen saver. * Power management setkan pada 'Turn Off monitor in ... minutes'. 6. Port * Sentiasa dibersihkan kerana mudah dimasuki habuk. * Gunakan berus atau berus gigi lama. * Pastikan suis dimatikan ketika membuat pembersihan.

Mari kita semua imbas kembali evolusi Microsoft Windows Bermulanya dari tahun 1982 hingga 2009: 1. 1982 Microsoft released MS-DOS 1.0 (Disk Operting System), a 16-bit operating system with a command line interface 2. 1985Microsoft introduce the first version of Windows, Windows 1.0, which was also the first OS from Microsoft to feature a graphical user interface (GUI) 3. 1987Released in 1987, Windows 2.0 was the first Windows OS to allow application windows to overlap one another 4. 1990Windows 3.0 launched with a revamped GUI, advanced graphics with 16 colors (previous version only supported eight) and improve memory management. 5. 1993Microsoft's first 32-bit OS, Windows NT 3.1 (New Technology) was launched in 1993. Although numbered 3.1, it was the first in the NT family of operating system, which were designed to be powerful and flexible operating system for business users. 6. 1995 in 1995, windows 95 came with with a new GUI, saw the introduction of Plug and Play Technology, ran 32-bit applications natively and marked the first appearance of Window Explorer. 7. 1996Windows N 4.0 had the same GUI as Windows 95 and introduced the now familiar Windows Task MAnager. It was the last of the Windows NT family that carried the NT designation. 8. 1998Windows 98 launched in 1998 abd was followed by an update in 1999 called Windows 09 Second Edition(SE). 9. 2000February 17th-A continuation of the NT family, Windows 2000 Professional introduced many of the new features of Windows 98 into the NT line. It was released in four different editions. 10. 2000Septh 14th- Micorsoft released Windows Millennium Edition (ME) in the same year, a consumer orientated OS with an updated GUI that resembled elements of Windows 2000, with the new System Restore feature. It was the last Windows OS to be based on the Windows 95 code base. 11. 2001Window XP (Short for Experience) was released as the successor to both Windows 2000 and Windows ME, merging the two OS families around the Windows 2000 code base. It Featured a significantly redesigned GUI and was the first version of Windows to use product activation. 12. 2007Windows Vista was released in 2007, six years after Windows XP- the longest time span ever between successive releases of Windows. Vista was scheduled to ship in 2003, but after years of work and delay, Microsoft group VP Jim Allchin rebooted the project in 2004. The original OS, based on Window XP code, was crapped, key features were cut and the base codewas rewritten, building on top of Windows Server 2003. Vista included a new GI named Window Aero, a changed Window Explorer, introduced Desktop Gadgets and the infamous User Account control. 13. 2009January 19th- Microsoft released Windows 7 Beta for public download on its website, which could be installed and used until August 1st 2009. Originally limited to 2.5 million downloads; the download popularity caused Micorsoft to extend unlimited downloads until February 10th. May 5th - Windows 7 release Candidate was released for public download, which could be installed and used until March 1st, 2010 when it will shut down every two hours, eventually expiring on June 1st, 2010. July 13th- Windows 7 released to Manufacturing (RTM) build finalized. RTM, also known as a Gold Master, indicates that an application has met quality standards and is ready for mass distribution to manufacturers. October 22nd- The launch date for Windows 7's public release. |

1. Broadband Router SettingsAs the centerpiece of a network, a broadband router can be responsible for slow Internet connections if configured improperly. For example, the MTU
setting of your router will lead to performance issues if set too high
or too low. Ensure your router's settings are all consistent with the
manufacturer's and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) eg : Streamyx, Jaring, P1Wimax,DIGI, MAXIS, CELCOM
recommendations. Carefully record any changes you make to your router's
configuration so that you can undo them later if necessary.
2. Wireless Signal InterferenceWi-Fi
and other types of wireless connections may perform poorly due to
signal interference, which requires computers to continually resend
messages to overcome signal issues. Household appliances and even your
neighbors' wireless networks can interfere with your computers. To avoid
slow Internet connections due to signal interference, reposition your router for better performance and change your Wi-Fi channel number. 3. Internet WormsAn Internet worm
is a malicious software program that spreads through computer networks.
If any of your computers are infected by an Internet worm, they may
begin spontaneously generating network traffic without your knowledge,
causing your Internet connection to appear slow. Run antivirus software regularly to diagnose and remove these worms from your computers. 4. Running Background ApplicationsSome
software applications you install on a computer run in the background,
quietly consuming network resources. Unlike worms, these are programs
designed to do useful work. Peer to peer (P2P)
programs in particular can heavily utilize your network and cause
connections to appear slow. It's easy to forget these applications are
running. Always check computers for any programs running in the
background when troubleshooting a slow network. 5. Faulty Network EquipmentWhen routers, modems
or cables fail, they typically won't support connections. Certain
technical glitches in network equipment, however, adversely affect
performance even though connections are maintained. To troubleshoot
potentially faulty equipment, temporarily re-arrange and re-configure
your gear while experimenting with different configurations. Try
bypassing the router, swapping cables and changing network adapters to isolate the slow performance to a specific component of the system. 6. Service Provider IssuesInternet
speed ultimately depends on the service provider. Your ISP may change
their network's configuration, or suffer technical difficulties, that
inadvertently cause your Internet connection to run slow. ISPs may also
intentionally install filters or controls on the network that can lower
your performance. Don't hesitate to contact your service provider if you
suspect they are responsible for a slow Internet connection. |

In what appears to be a memo sent to ISPs by the regulator of
Internet industries in Malaysia, all service providers have been ordered
to completely block various file-sharing sites including The Pirate
Bay, MegaVideo and other hosting services. The move follows an April
statement by the country’s Prime Minister in which he promised his
administration would never censor the Internet.
The
regulation of the communications and multimedia industry in Malaysia is
handled by SKMM – the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia
Commission. Under a 1998 Act of the same name, the Commission is
empowered to carry out a range of functions, several of which are
law-related.
According to SKMM’s website, the
Commission has the power to “implement and enforce the provisions of
the communications and multimedia law”, “regulate all matters relating
to communications and multimedia activities not provided for in the
communications and multimedia law” and to recommend reforms to existing
law.
SKMM is clearly a powerful organization and if a document uncovered by Wirawanweb.com
is authentic (and it appears to tick all of the necessary boxes), its
considerable muscles have just been flexed against online copyright
infringement.
The memo, titled ‘Request For Action Under Section 263(2) of The Communications and Multimedia Act CMA 1998‘
(the legislation that gives SKMM its powers) appears to order all of
Malaysia’s ISPs to immediately block a number of high-profile
file-sharing related sites, as listed below:
“The above-mentioned URL/Web Address has been found by Ministry of
Domestic Trade, Co-Operative & Consumerism (KPDNKK) to be in
contravention of law in Malaysia,” says the memo, which is signed by
Acting Senior Director of the Digital Security Services Division, Eneng
Faridah Iskandar.
Breaches of Section 41 of the Copyright Act 1987 are being cited by
SKMM as the grounds for the blocks, legislation which has been used
against a number of Malaysia-hosted file-sharing sites in the past.
During 2008 and 2009, SKMM ordered webhost Shinjiru to take several torrent sites offline due to Section 41 breaches including Superfundo, LeechersLair, Extremebits and Rapthe.
The memo’s content and particularly its timing appear to have come as
a shock to many Malaysian Internet users. Speaking at the 1st
Malaysian-ASEAN Regional Bloggers Conference in April 2011, Prime
Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak vowed that his administration would never censor the Internet.
However, SKMM has previously made it clear that in their opinion
there is a difference between censorship and upholding the rule of law.
“The Malaysian legal system provides that there is no censorship of
the Internet by virtue of Section 3 (3) of the Communications and
Multimedia Act (CMA) 1998,” the organization said in an earlier
statement.
“However, the SKMM would like to remind all Internet users that
content that is illegal offline is also illegal online and other laws in
Malaysia are applicable regardless of platform and can deal with the
various types of offences which are committed via the Internet or any
other mobile applications.”
As part of SKMM’s ‘Vision and Mission’ statement, they promise to
provide “transparent regulatory processes” so hopefully a full statement
on the blocking decision will be delivered in due course.
